The honor of having been selected to attend the NTM was one in which I will cherish always. The life long lessons and techniques that I learned in Detroit will be well put to use in trying to create a more Sustainable Community right here at home. Currently, I along with NOFAS, City Government and UNPF, have conducted surveys and educational campaigns to inform mothers-to-be on the importance of remaining alcohol free during pregenancy and for life, to the community on the importance of educaton not just for the children but for everyone and in the essence of what it is to participate positively in your community. All in the hopes of leaving a productive legacy for the future. Small steps as such can and will ensure the betterment of tomorrow and make great steps toward our more Sustainable America. I would like to personally thank Solar Quest, Sun Net, The President's Council and all else that makes it possible for the youth to participate in a world we will soon inherite. The friends and the knowledge that I have gained will influence my life and my behavior for live. Know that your work is imperative and keep up the wonderful job!!
