Swenson Subject: Update on Youth Roundtable Sent: 3/21/99 9:28 PM Importance: Normal Susan: Greetings. We received over 40 nominations for 20 positions on the Youth Roundtable. The deadline for nominations was March 18. All the youth were asked to submit a short essay describing their involvement with sustainability issues, how they will contribute to the Roundtable, and how they will share their experience at the National Town Meeting with their schools and communities. The Youth Roundtable Planning Committee is now in the process of selecting the youth. This process should be complete within the next few days.
