| Quest I.016: Solar Electric Bus |

An electric bus has become available to SolarQuest for $6,500. This bus is in disrepair, but probably would have a value when improved of about $100,000. It is likely to take about $10,000 or $20,000 to fix it up. The idea is to use the availability of the bus to create a project with a school that wants to get experience in EV's. It would also be appropriate to set it up with PV for charging the batteries, especially while it is sitting in one location. |
