1. With the increasing advances in technology and the much talked about Y2K expectations, how important is it for Africa to maintain the knowledge it has of "archaic" forms of technology? How is important is is for the US? 2. As Africa continues to develop, is it -- as a whole -- or are various African countries faced with environmental racism? Are certain areas being more polluted than others? 3. As these countries develop are the indigenious people being educated on how these advances in technology affect the environment? Are they being educated on what steps to take in reducing or eliminating any harmful pollutants that may be emitted into the atmosphere?
